Evan Ruderman is a California-based commercial photographer who creates dynamic, story-driven imagery for outdoor and lifestyle brands around the globe.

Raised under the notion that the best things in life aren’t things, Evan is drawn to fleeting moments where movement, environment, and human spirit collide. He looks to find beauty in the ordinary and is willing to go to great lengths to show people the extraordinary.

With a background rooted in outdoor adventure and extensive experience on commercial sets, Evan moves seamlessly between remote mountain ranges, frigid coastlines, and fast-paced sets. He’s as comfortable working in unpredictable conditions as he is on structured productions, bringing the same level care and attention to detail to both. Evan has worked with brands including Apple, Nissan, Billabong, Iceland Air, Black Diamond, Redbull, Osprey Packs, Sony, La Sportiva, Roark, and many more. When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll find him surfing, snowboarding, playing or watching soccer, sleeping in his truck camper, and drinking far too much coffee.
